PRO ONLINE MIXING, GET 'THAT' SOUND ! I will address every single track in your mix. Depending on the style of the music, will determine how I might go about a mix. If it's an hiphop track then the drums are the focal point. An rock track maybe louder guitars and an ballad the vocal needs to shine. The biggest part is trying to balance the mix. Giving each element its own space (frequency wise) and sound stage (depth/panning). Trying to get all the levels right for each instrument. Is the bass too loud too quiet. Is the vocal sitting in the mix correctly. Is the mix working as one or is there something sticking out ! To do this correctly accurate monitoring is crucial. The actual room must be acoustically treated so it doesn't affect the sound coming from the speakers. Along with my experience, where I have learnt many techniques regarding sound engineering. Understanding the sound spectrum, applying compression , reverb, delays, and special effects. On average, a mix takes between 5 to 6 hours. Costs are £95 pounds per online mix.
